Wow...hey Alex, when Moss gets tired, switch him out with Tyms and just lob the ball up to him...anywhere! Wow!
Leaping w/the plate makes me the pads and helmet won't diminish his 38.5" vert too badly on the field. I watched him specifically during the game, and he looks like he is developing pretty quickly at WR. He looked completely lost on the KR team, though. It's good that they are giving him reps on ST, though. It shows that they might be serious about his future w/the team (prob PS, at best, this year, though).

I've shifted my thinking to this as well. I think Tyms has the best chance with us out of Palmer, Owusu, and the others.
I'd rather take Tyms over Palmer hands down, Palmer is just a camp darling who seems worse then advertised. Then Owusu, while talented, is a walking concussion, Austin Collie possibly suffered his 4th concussion in 1.5 years last night and talking heads are seriously wondering if he will ever play again, Owusu had 3 in 15 months, I dont want an Austin Collie on the team :/
The #s of PS eligible receivers also get thrown off by Ben Hannula - former USD player under Harbaugh who was his jack of all trades player at DB, WR, backup QB, etc. JH loves versatility and Hannula could end up squeaking past any of those 3 for a PS spot because of his usefulness.

Agree. I think Tyms would be the best option to have on the practice squad to develop for this team.

For sure. It looks like this staff believes in their ability to coach up raw talent. Moving Miller and Aldon to new positions in time for the season and taking Cully in the third last year were big examples, and they kept Nelms on the PS. Nelms was a superior athlete compared to other candidates, but his play didn't show it, as he was essentially a track athlete who took up football. He was a hard worker willing to do whatever the team asked of him. Sounds a lot like Tyms, based on the article, though I think Tyms will prove to be a better athlete.
