they paid him $500k guaranteed, I doubt they would have done that if they thought his spot was in danger.

Yes, if we can't trade him. I like Teddy Ginn, but in the numbers game I don't see it, in the pre cap era no question he makes it, but now...If P. Cox can retune kicks...well it's all about cap space and money now a days.

I mean it is conceivable that he gets cut but I just hope they keep him for special teams purposes.

Ginn is proven but not reliable. He's had nagging injuries since coming here.

That being said - Moss, Crabtree, Manningham, Jenkins all make the team imo. I bet Seely makes the call on the 5th WR, so I think Ginn stays with Cox & (possibly) LMJ backing him up. Or they could cut both Ginn & KW to roll with Cox & Cartwright as return men (least likely given the RB situation imo).

I think we should have four safties and six receivers this year. Didn't last year, we had 5 safties and 5 WR's on the team?
