How good is Ahmad Brooks?

I wouldn't go that far. Offenses are game planning against Aldon, and Aldon is getting chipped and double teamed on every play, that leaves Brooks one-on-one with the Tackles and able to beat his man and make plays.
Ahmad Brooks today was so versitle. He played inside on Goaline defense. I remember him at Virginia he was an all around LB playing inside and outside. This dude played outstanding vs Carolina. He took the Falcons game off but since then has been a terror all season.

Aldon is a better pass rusher, sure. But Brooks is the better overall LB. Aldon has shown that he can be taken out of a game

And Brooks hasn't? He was pretty much invisible after the N.O. game up through the end of the regular season. Glad he's stepped and been so dominant and clutch in the playoffs.

Brooks more than ever has to accounted for by people who game plan against us.

100% correct, but Brooks was a scrub in year three of his career. He completely turned his career around the past couple of years. Our LB group is great!

This. Don't forget the holding/bear hugging. How are people not seeing this? The thing is, the better Brooks does, and if Fangio does some things to get Willis and Bowman in on the sack party, it will force offenses stop the consistent double teaming of Aldon.
Did you see Newton dramatize the 'no contact' jump over the line? What a poser.

that's the thing.
aldon is getting chipped and doubled and still almost getting to the qb. he arrives just after brooks and co do.
and his edge setting is excellent. he's a complete olb
