Looks like Ahmad Brooks is going to get arrested. This is sad.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Authorities in San Jose have obtained an arrest warrant for San Francisco 49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks alleging he hit teammate Lamar Divens with a beer bottle.

It was not immediately clear whether the warrant had been served.

I don't think he'll do any time because the victim isn't pressing charges. If he gets convicted of anything, felony or misdemeanor, he'll probably get a suspended sentence with some kind of community service and the stipulation that he has to go into a class to help him stop drinking. But, that probably will get him a three or four game suspension with the NFL.

The smart thing to do, the right thing to do is cop to it, apologize, take the anger management and alchohol awareness counseling with a good attitude, and try to do better for yourself, family and teammates. Wouldn't that be astonishing. Don't go Hernandez on this Brooksie.
