brooks is a beast! Hes a natural in pass rushing and run stuffing. sooner or later, the niners will be the team that produces linebackers for the rest of the NFL to shop for.

LOL. To be fair, I read the article and they had some valid points and I can see why they thought he might finally blossom (as many of us did) but man, did he go South and South fast! Perhaps the personal family issues had a lot to do with it b/c he had talent and ability but just couldn't get it between the ears.

Great find and relay! So he has only two areas he really needed to improve upon 1) Increased sacks (remember the average SAM had 4.5 and he had 8 last year) and technique and 2) Relentlessness (staying with the play through the whistle) and not leave anything on the field.

Scary! So then he goes out and works out even harder this off season esp. on these two goals AFTER he signs a big contract. Love it!

One thing I am picking up on in all these defensive videos is that the coaches have targeted one or two main goals they need to work on to get better and each player is fully aware of this. Keep it simple...
