Ahmad Brooks is one lucky man. He went from being totally under appreciated by this fan base, people saying he should be cut, makes too much, etc, to people now prepared to worship at his altar. If it weren't for bad luck, this team would have no luck at all.

Harbaugh buried him. He almost quit because of sellout Harbaugh.
Now he's back into the fold with peace of mind . has a chance at millions if he can get back at it.

He almost quit because a rookie outplayed him and the coaching staff rewards him by giving him the playing time. It seemed to light a fire in Brooks, so it's not necessarily a bad thing

Agree
AND the Questions was "How good is Brooks?" I guess we'll get a chance to really see just how good he can be.
I'm thinking he's going to be in beast-mode to prove to us and the league he is awesome.

Since we don't have a pass rush anyway, what do you guys think about moving Brooks to Ted to strictly allow Bo to roam and get the rookie ROLB more experience under fire?
I just don't trust Wilhoite in order for us to have a strong front 7.
Honestly, I would rather run a big nickel with Tartt in for Wilhoite.

Agreed ...plus it would strengthen our pass coverage

Tartt go exploited against Vereen. I wonder what Lynch would do to him

Lynch isn't the same type as Vereen. Lynch is mainly the flat/wheel route guy. Vereen is from NE where they had options to cut left or right depending on the leverage of the defender. There was also a big play by Vereen that got help from the ref being in the way.
Honestly, Wilhoite and Reid have not been the same since the PIT game. Wilhoite is hesitant to crash the run because he doesn't want to be play action passed against and Reid is too far back and taking bad angles because he got burned vs PIT.

He DID quit because he was taken off the field to make room for a better player.

He reminds me of Julian Peterson. Not a great pass rusher but a tough, overachieving warrior type.

I had to call out this bum. Anyone want to bet he has the most penalties on the team.

I don't see any way Brooks is with the team next year. I want them to use that top 3 pick on the best pass rusher in the draft and put him in there with Lynch on the other side.
