Philly has an abundance of LBs we have an abundance of edge players. I'm hoping we can pull a two player swap(Brooks,Boone) for (Kendricks,Mathis) no picks involved.

any word if Brooks is expected to play ILB? saw a few zoners posting this but did Baalke or anybody suggest this?

Won't see them talk about it until training camp. But getting the 9ers best LBs on the field means Ahmad starting on first and second down.

Would it mean Brooks would have to lose significant weight to play ILB? Has anybody seen if he looks slimmed down

Agreed...he wasn't exactly on firm footing with the team to begin with. If this has any legs at all he is gone.

Brooks wont be as effective inside as he is rushing the passer or an OLB...,
Instead of forcing an issue, we should have or give Nick Moody as much time in the preaseason as possible because he will be a good ILB with that Seminole speed!!
