I just want to know how many games he's going to get suspended for. At least we're moving closer to that determination.

So he was not in possession of brass knuckles?
How am I supposed to know that?
I guess it comes down to a police officers word against his. Maybe he was wearing a bunch of jewelry, and the police officer thought they were brass knuckles. Who knows?

Does the plea deal mean no missed games or does it mean he will defeinitely get suspended?

No contest could be better than guilty, but it shouldn't matter, as long as the LAX threat is BS. Goodell acted like he wanted to let Aldon off the hook on this stuff because of his 5 games off last year. Of course, Goodell can change his mind to appease the press and public sentiment.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith and the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office reportedly negotiated a plea agreement Wednesday on DUI and weapons charges.
Smith is expected to enter a guilty or no-contest plea within the hour, the San Jose Mercury News reported. The terms of the agreement were not immediately known.
Smith originally pleaded not guilty in November to three felony weapons charge. He also faced a misdemeanor DUI charge.

Done deal. Anyone want to take a guess of what the plea is?
Roger's stance on the last incident. "The issue here is not to discipline players," Goodell said when the 49ers were in London during the regular season to face the Jacksonville Jaguars. "The issue here is to stop the behavior. And Aldon, to your point, has voluntarily said, 'I need help.' We are obviously there to support him, and the 49ers did a great job getting him into a facility to try to get that help. And so we all support that."
Translation: He worked out a plea with the DA and it's been taken care of. No need for further punishment by the NFL. That would be my guess. At most, a 4-game suspension.

NO word yet on whether they plead the charges down to misdemeanors, or what the sentence is...

Man, if he starts the season clear of that charge with no lingering suspension, he will be relaxed ready for terror...
Good for our season, bad for contract negotiations
