Apparently throwing up behind the bench during the game. Looks like he still needs some conditioning. Can't blame him when you don't practice or anything for 5 weeks. He'll be alright

He said he got 2 workouts or lifts in a week there. Clearly gained like 5-10 pounds and isn't in game shape. Looks about the same as if we had Lemonier out there maybe worse. I'm expecting it somewhat for Crabtree as well. He might not be in game shape for a few games. He definitely gained some weight as well.

Today, 49ers defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said the All-Pro outside linebacker had an illness and was nauseous before last week's 23-20 loss to the Saints. Smith, who had one tackle in 44 snaps, vomited on the sideline in the first quarter, the San Mercury News reported.
Smith's quiet performance – he had two quarterback hurries and one QB hit, according to Pro Football Focus – raised logical questions about his conditioning after he missed five games while undergoing treatment for a substance-abuse problem.
"He was sick prior to the game on Sunday," Fangio said. "And was struggling with a cold and some congestion. The medicine he was on made him kind of sick before the game. I think it was more that than his physical conditioning."
