Smith, meanwhile, is on probation after pleading no contest to a 2013 DUI incident as well as possession of illegal assault weapons. The DUI incident occurred last September when Smith passed out behind the wheel of his pickup truck and came to a stop in the front yard of a home just a few houses away from where McDonald lives. Terms of the probabtion include not drinking alcohol or going to a liquor store. Breaking the terms could result in jail time.

well if this is true ,, based upon his "play" saturday night,, a drunk aldon is no better than a sober aldon

If I read the conditions of his parole correctly, he would serve a couple years in jail if caught drinking or in a liquor store.

However, it will be hard in this case to prove he was drinking, unless he's on surveillance, which many players have on their property. Apparently he was at RayMac's place?

Either way, he better pray to God he's not on camera. Common sense says if they were up all night partying he was likely drinking, but that doesn't hold up in a court of law. There has to be proof.

Well maybe his play had a little something to do with it. He knows he's guilty and may of known it was coming out so why make full effort when your going to jail possibly or getting cut

I'm sure Aldon was playing half assed not to get hurt and knowing his buddy just got canned from the team and he may be linked to it as well.

Might explain the mysterious loss of our pass rush in the second half especially. I'd hate to think a player would do that, though.

Also the affidavits from the girl and from Ray will be what's important. It's under oath and If both say he was drinking, just not good.

Regardless, he's just putting himself in bad situations.
