Nah. I'm betting somewhere around 4-6 game suspension.

From what basis do you make that statement?

Good question. I do not know enough about this particular offense to be able to predict what the sentence would be if, and that if s big if, he is convicted.

That is the latest word as the judge is not going to like the latest incident and will try to teach him a lesson. If it is a short stint, everything will be good as he could probably serve it after the season. I guess it depends what Goodell does with Aldon and if he suspends him for the entire season or not.

I would LOVE if it is only 4-6 games as we will still have him for the playoff run.

interesting article and author seems to have some knowledge. It does not sound good for Aldon.

Yeah. Sucks that we'll be without him a few games but I'd live with that. I see an 8 game suspension being the absolute MAX. But we'll see.

That's the article I was referring too. This latest incident even if he was innocent is going to get him. Maybe it was just a misunderstanding and the cops heard him wrong.

Yeah, even an eight game suspension would be good with me. That is not still enough for him to get 10+ sacks .

The lack of substance on the LA airport charges seems notable.

All that I have read were the remarks made by the police---and those remarks have to be taken with a grain of salt.

Those remarks may or may not accurately reflect what happened.
Are people forgetting the appeals process? -When Big Ben got sanctioned back in Aug. of 2010, the original ban stood at 6 games, but it was then cut to 4 due to Goodell monitoring Big Ben throughout the process, and the dude returned in mid Oct. opposed to the beginning of Nov.

Aldon is gonna have to do what Big Ben did, and beg Goodell for forgiveness, while also contributing to the local community in a positive light.

Exactly, and it still won't matter due to perception of the situation. Aldon is already guilty without a chance to prove his innocence. Funny how this country stands for one thing, but doesn't necessarily follow it in most situations. If you are accused of something, than you are automatically guilty.

It does usually take some time before charges are filed, but it can't take longer than a week, right? So if he isn't charged by Sunday, I guess there is a good chance they don't press any charges on him. Hopefully they make a statement before his vital hearing on the 29th.

Big Ben had some pretty serious accusations made against him.

Yeah, which is why I think people are just going nuts over this right now.

The saddest part about all this, is that Aldon hasn't even been charged yet with felonious conduct by the LAPD (despite being detained). If in the end Aldon isn't charged, the media has already escalated this story to the extent that people will go insane, hating the 49ers, hating Aldon, which will corner Goodell into suspending him for half the season. This is the type of stuff the modern fear-porn-jacking PC-thug American jerks off to in his/her free time.
Just think of it this way. A few months ago there was a huge issue about jonothAn martin and incognito.

Even non-football related issues get swept under the rug in a matter of no time.

We're comparing Aldon to a rapist, because he has a bad sense of humor?
