Thinking that if there's any suspension, it won't be more than four games. Book it.

The DUI is the worst offense but hopefully Goodell is true to his word and takes Aldon's voluntary 5 game absense (rehab) into consideration.

The weapons charges reduced to misdemeanors is huge for his case.

And the LAX incident was an overblown misunderstanding - no charges pressed.

Ray Rice's punishment is also another good sign - if he can only get two games for KO'ing his wife, it's definitely possible Aldon get can less time than we think.

I'm now thinking 1-2 game suspension with 4 games being the absolute max.

How long was Vick's suspension from the NFL? I think the suspension given to him by Goodell was one year.

I think that Aldon Smith can take a sigh of relief....although it wouldn't shock me if he gets suspended six games the max.

You just went from indicating that Vick's suspension should be counted as 32 games to indicating that it should be counted as 0 games.

As I said before, count it however you want.


The suspension from Goodell was 16 games (1 year).

The suspension from Goodell was 16 games (1 year).

It was indefenant. If I remember correctly. And as soon as he got out of prison and asked to be reinstated he was.
