The fact that OP hasn't put up a paypal for this and is just trying to see if people want in or not tells me that so far this isn't a scam. If he starts a verified kickstarter account or has some other way to verify the dude in question is getting the money, before he asks for it (which is what he seems to be doing) then that leads me to believe it isn't a scam.

It's not like he was saying "here is a paypal pay me money now it'll get to him i promise" dude is thinking it out.

I grew up in San Mateo, live in LA now. I see about one 49er game a year... last year it was Steelers @ 49ers when the lights went out.

I went down to San Diego to see Packers @ Chargers with my Packer-fan buddy as well.

My point is that I can afford to go to a game or two every year. Billy cannot. I wanted to see if we could get Billy a gameday experience. That's it.

Just so some of you know, the WZ has pulled together before to pay for a fellow WZer to fly from Missouri, pick him up at the airport, stay at another WZer's house, brought to the game to tailgate with us, paid for his ticket to the game, and sent back on a flight to Missouri. If some of you don't want to help, then don't. No reason to s**t all over this thing if you can't/don't want to.
