personally i like larod stephens-howling off that list

Colts just released Chris Rainey, a RB/return man who was supposed to be a "do everything" guy for this, it's completely odd they just released him given that Vick Ballard just got hurt & they are thin at RB (not to mention that Trent Richardson sucks). Since we need at least one camp body RB and it couldn't hurt that we bring in somebody who can return kicks, he could be a very good option.

personally i like larod stephens-howling off that list

Colts just released Chris Rainey, a RB/return man who was supposed to be a "do everything" guy for this, it's completely odd they just released him given that Vick Ballard just got hurt & they are thin at RB (not to mention that Trent Richardson sucks). Since we need at least one camp body RB and it couldn't hurt that we bring in somebody who can return kicks, he could be a very good option.

oooh...rainey...that would be an interesting pick up. If not for anything more than special teams.

If Lattimore is healthy, he and hyde will be an awesome duo behind gore. Hopefully no one else gets injured...gee wiz...we've been sort of unlucky so far...

Thankfully LMJ will be ready by week 1 (if not sooner), despite the criticism he gets, we need him as our return guy and for RB depth now that Hunter is gone for the year. I think the team will continue to play it very safe with Lattimore (as they should), our 1-2 punch is going to be Gore/Hyde with hopefully some Lattimore and LMJ sprinkled in.

Rainey is interesting, I wonder if he got into trouble or caused some sorta disruption for the Colts, the coach just gushed about him having a big role on offense and ST's this year just a few days ago then they cut him today. We have to pickup at least one camp body and since we do I'd like a guy like Rainey.

Very surprised to see Rainey was cut. Heard good things about him out of camp. There had to be some incident. Last year Rainey was cut by the Steelers only hours after he was arrested for slapping his girlfriend.

if with LMJ and Hunter getting hurt we still have: Gore, Hyde, and Lattimore. Depth on depth on depth

Rainey release was not performance based but for violating team rules, according to a source.

Ahhh.... sounds like his kind of violence is more of the Raven kind.

LMJ may have been injured during the drill it that doesn't mean he was part of it. He probably leaned on it funny while sipping a coolatta on the sideline.
