Lest anyone forget, trent recovered from the AJ pick by trading him to...surprise...KC also. From that we got Baldwin, who in two yrs with crappy QBs, caught 45 passes. As usual, roman immediately decided not to have any passes thrown to Baldwin who finished he season with just a handful of opportunities. If Baldwin gets a chance, shows what he can do and roman still doesn't use him, then roman is a twerp...that plus being a lousy OC and play caller. He admits to learning on the job, which in the NFL isn't good news. JH and trent blew the chance to use lmj in space, (he just isn't a run between the tackles guy in the NFL), yet never used him where he really only should have been used...as a bailout or as a pass receiver. This was a blown opportunity by Coach and I hope trent fixes it with a trade package bundled for moving up in draft. That is the only way to salvage a blown second pick. That is just wastefully stupid. Nobody here knows if the kid could catch passes out of backfield or not. Why? Because Coach never called his number. Stupid, just plain stupid waste of a #2. Let's hope trent bails him out again.

i hate james but doc , as usual, makes good points. bottom line we have a idiot for a OC who does not know how to use people. that is a reason why i was amused at so many who wanted flash gordon last year and of course jackson this year. do you really really have faith in roman to know how to use new toys that come his way?? and if i have to hear"well hopefully roman gets his head out of ass for this year" one more time, i will kick mayos penis
Didn't T Brown get fined for doing this last off season?

oh okay this James situation sucks he was a 2nd round pick and i know if he gets traded it will be for a 7th round pick or something. If that's the case i rather just keep him.
LMJ had so much potential, we wouldn't have spent a 2nd on him if we didnt think we could use him, yet he acts like a p***y and never works hard enough to win a job. He just thinks he'll land on a team and be #1 back there. Yeah good luck finding that situation anywhere. Dude is going to realize his next team willput him on the bubble and no better than #3 on the depth. Keep being a whiney b***h LMJ.

(I always wondered what caused that "tingling" he complains of sometimes. Now we know, I guess.) lol

To me, its not just personnel, its coaching--what opportunities are provided for the personnel already in place. We've seen enough of Roman to know that he's not an OC with a complete menu of pass play opportunities. He may be a genius at the running game, but he appears to be limited in his choice of passing plays.

And I'm not sure if its solely on Roman, or how much input Harbaugh and other assistant coaches have on the passing attack--but it appears obvious that someone with a better grasp of all the ins and outs, all the nuances of an NFL passing attack, is needed.

I think the pro game is too big and fysical for LMJ or at least it is in our system. I would rather they trade him and free up the roster spot for someone who fits our system.
Yeah, my #1 pick for FA or draft was a new OC. Looks like I lost.

if he is traded then oh well i mean they traded Jenkins and he was a 1st round pick it just sucks he was drafted in the first place. He was never going to be a back up RB. At the time he was drafted Gore, Hunter, Dixon were all better RB's than him. He was drafted to be a specialist type back. A back you bring in for gimmick plays or some kind of play where hes out in space to use his speed. But Roman never knew how to use him. His talents are not worth a 2nd round pick in my opinion it's looking like it was a mistake drafting him.

Chip Kelly will pick him up and he'll go to the Pro-Bowl. But that's the difference between Roman and Kelly isn't it?
A lot of ppl had issues with drafting LMJ when we did. We just chose not to spend much time b***hing about it because we were winning games.
LMJ is skipping the voluntary program . . . in other news nobody cares.

He is doing everything he can to get the boot. I used to like him coming out of college, but he is just another me-first guy that does not understand earning your spot on the team.

I wouldn't jump on the Chip Kelly bandwagon too quickly if I were you. He QB played out of his mind, defenses hadn't adjusted to his system and he's just gotten rid of one of his most dynamic play makers because of a personality issue. Let's see how he does in his second year with or without LMJ.

And as far as LMJ is concerned, coaches probably would have trusted him a little more if he didn't make every punt catch a hold-your-breath moment, learned to block a linebacker or two and didn't fumble while driving for the go-ahead score in a Super Bowl. Good luck to LMJ.
