Perhaps the ocean organism most vulnerable to temperature change is coral. There is evidence that reefs will bleach (eject their symbiotic algae) at even a slight persistent temperature rise. Bleaching slows coral growth, makes them susceptible to disease, and can lead to large-scale reef die-off. Other organisms affected by temperature change include krill, an extremely important link at the base of the food chain. Research has shown that krill reproduce in significantly smaller numbers when ocean temperatures rise. This can have a cascading effect by disrupting the life cycle of krill eaters, such as penguins and seals—which in turn causes food shortages for higher predators....

Does anyone think we may be headed towards an identity crisis this year? If we draft fleener (which I want) at 30 or hill or any other offensive weapon that we may be gearing towards more of a pass attack; we did last season when gore got hurt. But then we sign Jacobs and we have frank hunter and maybe Dixon and that will entice us to want to run more. I say we stick to the run and pass secondary. Problems like these cause concern for good teams like identity crisis or in house drama, if we come up short this yr I think it'll be because we don't know if we want to pass or run more, harbaugh will have his hands full with offensive personnel. Thoughts?
Please stop.

Id like to still keep our power running game but now you have to respect our Play Actions more. Id like to see us be more aggressive on 3rd downs thru the air tho. I understood the need to play the field position game last year but we have to attack more and put teams away

I expect this team to look like Stanford in Harbaugh's last season. They were a power running team and would use the TEs more in the passing game. Even with Fleener and Davis out there at once, I still don't see us as a team that will throw the ball 40 times a game. If anything, it would make it easier to run the ball because of the threat of a Vernon Davis, Randy Moss (if he works out), Mario Manningham, and possibly Coby Fleener. Teams really would be in a situation where they would have to pick their poison.

I agree. This will not be a problem. Our passing attack was dismal last year. It was something that needed to be improved and could still stand to add some additional talent.

I don't see that as an identity crisis I see it as a balanced offence that has the weapons to be great.

How can we have an identity crisis when we have Frank Hunter in the backfield?
