Currently around 295-300 lbs ?
At least he'll look good in his new nike duds as he's being tossed around by opposing DTs.

HAHA...that reporter doesnt know..he was 305 last year. 310 would be better. I thought 305 was real light for an interior lineman, until I took a look at the 2011 Pro Bowl Guards =

Kris Dielman = 320
Logan Mankins = 310
Brian Waters = 320
Jahri Evans = 318
Chris Snee = 305
Carl Nicks = 343

Id take a Snee part 2. Im just glad to hear about his body composition changing, he looked soft last year. Still would like to bring in a Zeitler or Osemele though. Never have enough good interior guys.

I think he's too small. More of a backup type. But he can't be worse than Chilo. No way.

That would be a good weight if he was playing in Texans zone blocking scheme but with our mainly power blocking (granted with a lot of guard pulls) that doesn't seem like it will cut it. Now if he is going for center than 300 seems better. Still glad he is getting in better shape.... his body looked soft last year but 310 would be great. He can stand to get bigger and stronger.

huh? when? he didn't even play
i like this kid a lot i ope we dont have to draft a G and hes ready to play (unless by some miracle we could get glenn or decastro)

and focous soley on skill positions

He's actually 308, but he's strong and very athletic. Entered the draft with a lot of upside and starter potential once coached up for a year, two at the most. Kilgore is a gifted pass protector, that's where he holds up the best. His main developmental needs were in run blocking.

He looked very good in the pre-season, we'll see how he does this year.

i would actually welcome that.

Not sure if I agree since he spends most of his time in San Francisco.

Which means his a$$ is probably always "filled up".

Take a look at Kilgore at the Combine 12 months ago = http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-combine/09000d5d81ec7751/2011-combine-workout-Daniel-Kilgore

His body looks really soft to me. The fact that he only got 23 reps on the bench confirms that. He has room on his frame to pack on more muscle Darko.
So Deuce Lutui just signed with Seattle and Jacob Bell signed with Cincy.

The veteran competition market is drying up quickly.

I think the 9ers approach with the RG spot is telling, they either really believe in Kilgore or like a couple of the guards in the draft. If they didnt I think they would have signed Schwartz who is large and young.
