Did playing the Rams twice just get easier?

Williams' suspension has no impact on the Rams given that Fisher and his assistant coach are both defensive guys who will implement their system and oversee it. The Rams' success is contingent upon getting consistent on offense and adding play makers, which they are in a position to do. They are still a year away talent-wise and their best player, Steven Jackson, is entering that stage of a RB's career where a decline wouldn't be a huge shocker.

The division is getting better though - the Cards and Hawks finished last year pretty strong and we have a 1st place schedule. It'll be a much more competitive NFC West in 2012.

this
The first place schedule is only 2 games for teams.
The niners have to play nyg and new Orleans
Cards phi and atl
Sea cowboys and Carolina
Rams wash and tb

So I think the division will all go 1-1, the rams and niners have a good chance at 2-0 but either way 2 games is the difference for schedules based on place. Not really a factor bc I think the niners will win the division by 2 or 3 games anyway and finish with the tiebreakers in our division anyway.
