Can Demarcus Dobbs play OLB?

Can Demarcus Dobbs play OLB? I think that if he lost a little weight I think he can play OLB. Here is a video of him making an INT in college. What do you think?

Maybe but......No. He is pretty cut at 6-2 275, to be an effective OLB he'd have to cut about 15 pounds and have incredible lateral movement. Only way I can see this working is off the basis that Dobbs is the next best pass rush specialist to take a role similar to what Aldon Smith played on pass rush downs.
At first I thought this was a joke but it wouldn't be a bad idea. Seizing how we already have rjf to and tukafu to back up ends, dobbs could work into a pass rusher standing up. The Guy needs to get on the field somehow someway. In preaseason he looked like a Guy who could be dominant in this league.

yea then we will put miller in at LT because hes good at blocking
I can't say for sure, but I think I may have heard something at him actually getting some work in that area. Could be wrong, though. Overall, I don't know if that'd be a good idea. Keep him developing at end.
I thought he was 6'6, not 6'2.
He should see more PT next season. He made a good impression in preseason. LB? Maybe.

Yeah, Fangio had some odd formations this year even though he didn't get too exotic with his blitzes. He'd have lineman, especially Justin Smith, standing up in two point ready to charge the A gap. Kind of a trip, really.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Dobbs moved around a little if he continues to develop. He seems very quick for a kid his size and his stunts with Aldon were killer in preseason.

Really, who knows with this team. They aren't exactly conventional.
No, he's too fat.
I think that Dobbs as an OLB is an interesting use of a lineman. But if he could do it, then it would smooth out the Williams, Tukuafu issues and use all of our Dlinemen in unique ways.
you guys know he played on our special teams unit?
