When he first took over I thought he was a silver spoon spoiled brat. But, I'll be the first to admit that he has come so far as an "owner." He presents well, knows to hire the right people and get out of the way, and is involved where he needs to be (the stadium). In the span of a few years, he's put together a great management team, the team is winning and on the rise.
Great job Jed and you learned well from Uncle Eddie D.

do you guys think Jed York had any say in who the starting QB will be?
Jed is all about money. What generates more fan base and viewing? From a financial point of view..... Kaepernick as QB or Smith?

No. I think Jed is the perfect owner in that he gives Baalke and Harbaugh the funds to do the footballs stuff while he worries about stadium and ownership things.

If a Super Bowl caliber QB sells PSL's, why not have influence?

Jed has done a great job.
And I'll admit this, too: Dr. York has done a good job in his much more limited role since he gave Jed most of the day-to-day decisions. Dr. York is a real good guy that just was in way over his head on knowing how to run a football team when he first took over. Now he's smartly involved in limited league activity and is very fan and player friendly.
