With the talk of Roman as being a Penn State finalist (filled) and with several NFL and College HC jobs still open, what is the thinking of the impact on the offense (ok, Alex) if they lose Roman? My thoughts are:
-Roman calls the plays, but it is within Harbaugh's system (ergo not much changes)
-Harbaugh inserts plays from insight from all of his coordinators, not just Roman
-Harbaugh is not likely to hire someone that doesn't see his vision (ie. a retread OC from another team with a name)
-Harbaugh has, and would definitely retain, veto authority on play calling
That said, i don't see an issue, though it would make 8 coordinators in 8 seasons for AS. I just don't see THIS potential change as that major. Thoughts?
