As long as we keep it close Alex will have his chances. What I am worried about is if in the playoffs, its one of those14-0 to 17-0 leads against a potent offense. There is a great chance that one of the games in the playoffs can be like that, though I hope not. I see us having to play the Saints Packers and Patriots if they want a superbowl vic. Anybody else I am not worried as much.

There is a reason they don't do that, they are trying to burn up the clock. As ST and the D has shown, you can have a breakdown, even the best of them. There is a reason that Romo and Vick have problems as well as Flacco, they are more liable to make big mistakes when asked to do to much. When they let the run game do their share you don't expose them to the big play. You also keep the other side out of getting into a rhythmn with their O.

Clearly JH and the coaching staff don't trust him enough to put the game in his hands in the red zone. It's kind of puzzling because JH talks him up saying he's a pro bowl QB but his play calling says otherwise.

His 2nd half against Philly. That throw on 4th and goal @ DET and his game vs. NYG have been all nails. The guy has grown up this year.

Smith is still getting used to playin in the O, Like U. Meyer said, He wont just take shot`s unless he knows exactly whats goin on.... IMO next year he will be alot more accurate and make much quicker throws, he will probly take more chances in the RZ too.

Makes no sense, Smith has only thrown 2 INTS in the Red Zone his entire CAREER.
