Shows Baalke is willing to re-up players if they are putting in the work. Boone was a project, everyone knew that from the beginning. He made major changes in his life and now looks like he, and the 49ers, are reaping the benefits. Getting this guy as at least a quality backup for very little investment saves a draft choice next spring. I look at him as having 4th round value at this point. Nice job coaches and Boone.
