Notice how there was no mention of Jim Harbaugh, Who came in and got it right from the very start without Having access to an off-season program due to the strike?

Notice how Harbaugh came into a situation with a bonafide starting QB in Alex and a talented roster?

Harbaugh had a pretty stacked roster compared to shanny.

Bingo. The folks talking s**t about KS conveniently forget the roster he started with is a joke compared to that which Harbaugh (and McVay in L.A. as well) started out with (even without a full off-season to implement his system). The good news is, is that Kyle's regime will end up far more successful than Harbaugh's; just have to win one Super Bowl and that accomplishes it. Jed might be a doofus, but he cares about the team and wants to win. Bringing in the current regime will turn out to be the smartest move he ever made, which may not mean much considering all of his other decisions, but it was a smart/lucky accomplishment none-the-less.

Truth. Anyone that's still here despite this franchise being in the midst of the darkest age any NFL franchise has ever faced in the history of the league is clearly a very dedicated fan. We should be more supportive and accepting of each other, because this forum is really more like a support group for the grieving process that comes with being a modern day 49er fan.

Well said, well said. Since this is the Jed thread, do what he did and get to know your fellow brother and try and understand where he's coming from.
Jed might be a good SJW. But he's proven to be a s**t football owner thus far.

Alex wasn't even somewhat good until Harbaugh came. The roster was what JH made it, before he came that same group of players sucked. They also sucked after he left!

Bowman wasn't a starter, A. Smith was thought to be a bust, VD was just a fast TE that Singletary kicked off the field. O-line was young and inexperienced, Gholdson wasn't a starter yet, I could go on and on.

Alex had already started playing better ball at the end of the year before JH came.

JH got rid of Alex in favor of Kap after '13. How did that work out for us?

A. Smith? Alex? Aldon? Who are you talking about? Neither was considered busts.

At least Bow was on the roster!!!! LOL

VD has states repeatedly that he became who he is because of Singletary.

I could go on and on...

So you are saying Singletary coached these guys into what they became? He had the same roster and went 8-8 with a off season program the year before.

Everyone was saying Alex Smith was a bust before and after JH came. Do you remember the Carr cheers?

I think the Big Game criticisms should probably remain unsaid at this point.
