if the Niners are ever gonna wear an alternate uni based on a past (throwback) design, the 1955/1994 with the dropshadows and white pants make the most sense since they're distinct enough from the regular red and white jerseys and gold pants yet still pay tribute to the team's legacy and past...
from the past unis from 1946-1963 Nike should just combine all the best features for a "fauxback" design:
