I know the niners are solid and will probably win 12 games and probably have a bye. I just don't know if they can win a playoff game this year with the lack of experience.

People are too concerned with our lack of passing stats. With the run game on fire, the #1 defense in the league that creates turnovers, and a special teams unit that continuously wins field position, our passing game just needs to keep the chains moving several times a game.

Great point. But, come-on, the 81 niners had Montana. The most clutch QB of all time!

all you can hope for is that your team wins the games it plays.

1981 (regular season) Joe Montana = not yet the clutch HOF Joe "Cool" Montana of 1988-90 ("The Catch" no doubt sparked it though, but that was the playoffs)
check his '81 reg. season stats...just above avg. like a certain you know who this year

I didn't know he was "Mr. Clutch" in '81...Oh, you meant he began building that reputation that year. So, by that logic, this would be the year to come through in the clutch. Like a 20+ point comeback in the second half against an "Elite" Michael Vick? Or a touchdown on 4 and goal to take the lead and win against an undefeated Lions team?

As with many good young teams, this 9er team is learning quickly on the fly. Harbaugh has thrown the most innovative playbook in the league at them and they are responding with wins...way ahead of schedule! So, yes they do not looked like a finished piece of art yet but they look like one in progress.
Many super bowl winners did not look like solid team until they jelled sometime during the year and then boom! 81 niners! If they win big this year they will look much better next year...hindsight is always great!
