Nice! Number 1 in fewest points allowed is also very nice :)

Awesome. The one I keep dreaming about is #1 in total offense, but I'll take wins over that stat.

This is a team with a champion caliber defense and special team along with a power offense that doesn't turn the ball over. This will be a team that can make a lot of noise in the playoff.

I know we haven't made the playoffs yet, but its funny to see that whenever Takeo Spikes leaves a team the next year that team makes the playoffs.
I remember someone saying that on ESPN a few years back.

The Bills made the playoffs when he left?

Wow, and it's not even close. And we already played the team that destroyed the Cowboys, dropping them from the top of the list. McCoy looked very ordinary against us.

The 49ers have statistically the most efficient offense in the past eight years in terms of fewest yards needed per point.

We are number one in the most important stat on defense...points allowed.

That's my favorite stat. Only 15.3 points per game. So good.

lol remember back in week 3 when everyone said Gore was finished, and we should start Hunter full time? whoops!
we should really start setting up a 3 strikes system. if you spam the board with doomsday forecasts, and they dont pan out that way, you should get some kind of posting priveledges revoked. or at least a dunce cap smiley by your username for 6 months.
It drives me crazy when so many people spew crap about how Alex Smith is horrible, and then when he turns it around they pretend they always believed in him. all because there is no accountability. theres a HUGE pile of crow on this board, and only a few people are actually eating it.

Guy is cursed but he might get it this year.... anyways we are also #1 in points given up per game with 107 in 7 games. Baltimore fell below us with their performance against AZ (110pts in 7).
We are also #2 in turnover ratio at plus 10.

Yep, yards are nice and all and we are 10th overall in that category but I think #1 in points given up is much more important and even more important than that is wins. I almost think PPG should be how they rank defenses. A lot of teams play bend don't break and give up big yardage.
