I read Peter Kings Monday Morning QB every week at cnnsi.com. King has liked the 49ers all season long from start to finish, I would say the 49ers were his favorite team from the way he wrote. I can't comment on prior season, but this season he has been consistently pro 49ers.

Well, it's not all about drafting them, it's also the coaching after. And let's be frank, most coaches in the NFL wouldn't know how to fully coach Kap the way Harbaugh/Roman have.

People were so focused on his "rawness" they failed to see the "potential". People didn't want to sit around and wait a couple years for him to develop. Pretty big mistake I must say.

You said it. People are so fixated now on getting their rookies to play immediately that they don't wanna take a chance on a special player and let them sit so they can develop.

I didn't post the article as an endorsement of King.
I posted it as a fact the excellent FO we have and the excellent coaching. The article points out, quite well, how many teams did NOT see what Baalke/JH saw in him.

Well, I think the tide is turning on the Ray Lewis "God loves me" saga. Been watching NFL news all day, and although no one is coming out and blatantly claiming it, it seems that a lot of ppl are starting to feel a bit uncomfortable with Ray's schtick. I know First Take did a piece on it this AM, and Stephen A Smith said it's not such a good idea for him to do it bc everyone will start talking about the murder allegations from 1999. The NFL Network crew seems to giggle everytime they show him crying or baring his ass for all of us when he was on the ground post AFCC game.

Ok, I thought you were talking about the NIners and then you threw that part in about stabbing and villains, now I don't know if you're talking about us or Ray?
