Don't know why you guys are so mad, I expected us to be in the 20-25 range, I'm just amazed people think of us in the 2-5 range. I still think there are a lot of flaws to our team.

I'm not mad I guess, it's just another reason to tell that dude off. My dislike for him originated way before this season even started.

And I don't think there are that many flaws on our team.

eh, our expectations were lower at the beginning of the season, but they're justifiably higher now. I think everyone is just blown away and thankful for this incredible season and trying to revel in it as much as possible. We were never very involved with power rankings when we sucked. Now that we're good its nice to see where we stack up, nice to read what others think of us. Even though its not necessary to enjoying the games and the season, its just part of the down-time.

I can't remember EVER disagreeing with you before Kolohe, but this time, I completely disagree. We are very worthy of a #2 position in the power rankings. Our team does not have very many flaws. I would rank our DB's as our biggest flaw, but on a scale of 1 - 10, I would rank our DB's as a 6, just slightly worse than average. That is just because of injuries. If Spencer was healthy, this wouldn't even be a topic.

Our WR's on offense come next, but the ability of our TE's and RB's to compensate for the passing game offsets that IMO.

QB is next, but Alex has proved to me that he can deliver when asked (see Bengals, Eagles, and Lions games).

We are a legit top 3 NFL team.

Alex Smith is always the "BUT" when it comes to assessing the 49ers. Not everyone will believe until Alex proves he can win in the post-season. Once he does, then everyone will be like "whoa..."

Jason La Canfora, the same cock-eyed mofo that I saw on NFL network last night saying the Lions won't make the playoffs this year (and one other outlandish statement I can't remember at the moment). This guy is a joke, he was trying to cover his ass after by saying "well it depends if they win against the Bears this next week" and "a lot of the guys backstage convinced me to say this".

I dont think the Lions will make the playoffs either, i have them finishing 9-7 on the year
