huh?? if anything he can easily succeed in a wco, hes got the size, hands and can run good routes. hes not a burner but you dont have to in a wco, he didnt do anything in seattle but it didnt help that hasselbeck was always injured and they had seneca wallace as their back up
actually his 1 yr in seattle he had over 900 rec yards, not superstar stuff, but whens the last time we had a wr get over 9 hundy

I think adding Ziegler makes a lot of sense. He's been with Smith and the team a long time. May not have abundant of talent but we need some one who would more likely know what he's doing out there.

He is definitely not better than Morgan but he is our best option
How many catches does Morgan average a game? 2 or 3. He's not targeted very often. He's in there more because of his blocking. Who's Your Momma once led the league in receptions. Like I said, he's our best option right now.
He couldnt beat out Mason in Baltimore and also wasnt targeted much when he was in the game. Then Baltimore released him. Other than him having two good legs, I dont see how he's better than a healthy Morgan.

He did play in the WCO in Seattle but he has been inconsistent last few years and questionable attitude. I would bring back Ziegler

TJ was good in Cincy. He has sucked ever since he left. He was actually notorious in Baltimore for basically sucking. At this point, Morgan is way better than him. But, you may be right about him being the best option. There ain't much out there.

Why would we bring in someone who not familiar with the system? He'll be 4th on the depth chart (5th when Braylon comes back). I would think they would bring in someone who can contribute on special teams (dont see TJ doing that) and getting creative with Delanie to fill the gap for Morgan.

I agree, it will most likely be a WR. With reports of TJ being brought in that may be the end of discussion but watching Detroit's D last night, I was not impressed with any area that wasnt the front four, specifically Suh and Williams. Konrad was an bit of a left field theory but in my head would make sense and allow us to exploit their exterior and help with ball control which keeps Calvin Johnson off the field.
I would still prefer Long or Ziggy over TJ only because they were here all summer, and a receiver with name recognition like TJ not being picked up this past offseason is a redflag in my book. Anyone know the story behind it?
