Dear lord, can we stop this Kaep is the future crap? We have no idea if Kaep will turn out well. Remember a lot of people on this board thought Nate Davis was the answer to all of our problems.
I wish this Nate Davis talk would stop. Most people just wanted him to get a chance. No one annointed him as the savior to our teams problems.

So we should re-visit this later, and we obviously will.

Because with the Niner's D if they can score 80 points a game they should be able to go deep in the playoffs.

With an offense being able to score 80 points a game, you'd only need a 32nd ranked defense. The worst defense in the league doesn't yield that many points.

Alex Smith is like that starter house you get when you're young.
It'll do, but you know you can do better. And you'll be way happier in better.

He's like the mom that doesnt quite want their only child to leave for college just yet, ya know kinda holdin ya back
He's gaining confidence tho, he's atleast trying to make throws iv'e never seen him even attempt. Just needs to correct that accuracy and he will be a help and a positive

I guess I didn't think of that.

Top 10 in the NFL at 63.3% not good enough for you? And before the lions game he was top 3 at almost 70%! He has defintely improved in this area of his game as well most others.

For now, I see him the QB for the next 4 years. For those who wanted us to trade for McNabb - he is being replaced by Ponder and is sent to the bench. I just saw it on

He has been with Harbaugh for less than 12 weeks and look at the difference already. I'm thinking that both Smith and the offense will continue to grow throughout the season. That's what I am hoping for at least.
