Our fat, false starting boy has become a man today.

Very impressed with Davis today.

Other than his 3-false starts, he pretty much kept Suh in check and that is no small thing. Maybe the worm is turning.
how is Staley NOT the weakest link? Its not Iupati, not Goodwin, Chilo has been replaced, its Not Davis. Staley let his guy past him on the FIRST play of the game. Totally unacceptable, not to mention his false start. Guy gets too many free passes. He gets burned by speed and pushed back by bull rushes.
Joe Staley is a bum. if it wasn't the outcome of the game and Jim Harbaugh giving us fans the laughter after the game then we would be breaking the game down and JS would be one of the few singled out for his atrocious play.
i think its time to switch staley and davis. davis just turned into a man today and he originally played LT in college and staley came into the league as a RT so it would be a smooth transition.
The line had a Jekyll and Hyde day. The strip sack and only 125 yds passing............not so good. Two hundred plus yards on the ground for the second straight week...........pretty damn good. Staley will have to step it up, especially when this team gets to the playoffs .

He's a bum for giving up a sack in a stadium where he couldn't hear the snap count all game?

What does that make Detroit's left tackle, a transvestite quadriplegic pedaphile?

Staley needs to be on the right side, Maybe AD will end up at LT next year....

ive mentioned that before, and i think its something to think about. Let both players go back to thier natural positions. AD still has a few things to iron out, but since Rachal has been out of the picture his play has definitely elevated.

AD had 3 penalties. Staley gave up one big play and had 1 penalty. He blew that play but he was fairly solid after.
But its becoming routine, the guy is a liability on that side. The dude blocked shadows in the preseason and let guys walk right past him. Im not hating on him just to hate on somebody, he's just not that good. Can he be better? Yes i believe he can, and he's shown he can... on the right side of the line. He's steadily gotten worse every year he's been at LT. The sack and ff is inexcusable. First fricking offensive play, wake up Staley its game time.

I honestly do not think he is 100% from his injury. He was always fast before but not a huge power guy....he is now getting beat by speed rushers. Aldon made him look bad in camp too if you remember. He will be fine and better as the season goes on.
i couldn't get mad at anyone on tha first funble. at first for sure i thought it was offsides...but when they showed the replay in slowmo, staley and alex had no chance. van don buash timed it perfectly, too perfect if u ask me. it was as if he knew our snap counts on opening drives.

we had a couple of potential huge plays we were setting up get ruinned because of foul starts by our new players like the 3rd te and back fullback miller.

also i like miller's run blocking ablity...he seems to always get a hand on anyone in the vessinity.

The guy got a monster jump on the ball. What left tackle in the league does not give up these types of plays?

Except for the 10 million penalties, the whole line played very well today, both in run blocking and pass pro. Not as good as last week, but the line did a good job today.

He also had Suh All Game. HE handled his business. I dont know if you listened to that game with the surround sound on or not but that building was loud as hell. I will say that Staly fixed himself and started handling his. They rushed for over 200 total yds. This line is doing they job now.
