A loser? No. Conservative? Yes. I agree he needs to open it up, but look at it from his perspective. Open up the offense and lose games due to turnovers. Play it safe and have a winning record of 2-1. He'll be conservative as long as it wins games. He's a rookie coach, he's going to go with what works.
