If David Garrard was under center yesterday, things would have been any different?
Anybody honestly think we could bring him in?

I would today. I would also cut Alex Smith yesterday. And by yesterday, I mean three years ago.

I was a Smith fan. I thought Harbaugh could get him turned around. I was wrong. I think we need to bring in Palmer orGerrard now.

It appears Alex-hate adversely affects one's ability to reason.

I agree def. and the inability to run the ball. hunter needs more/some reps at running back.

we didn't lose that game yesterday because of alex.. we lost because the coach didn't want accept the 15 yard penalty that would have used up more clock and maybe we would have scored a touchdown... and second we lost because the defense wasn't able to get a stop. where in the hell was our defense on the first play of overtime.... that play looked very similar to the touchdown seahawks got against us... it made me sick!

You never take points off the board. Tough call, but I have no issue with Coach H deciding to take the points. Defense needs Goldson back out there... and offense could use Edwards and Crabtree.

QB didn't cost the game. OL was the problem for the offence. If you have to bring in extra line men to protect your QB on a pass play I don't care what QB is back there your going to lose.

NO!
and I think if you cant see the improvement in his game in just a few months under Harbaugh you are either intentionally ignoring it, or you know nothing about the QB position.

Smith looked better, he made one bad throw, he also made up for that one with the TD pass to Delanie.
