Fortyniner Faithful, need your help!!!! We are going to need lots of Crow Recipes. We all know what our preseason predictions were. I stood hard at 10-6, but guess what!!! I'll need a tasty recipe by week 12 or 13.

My prediction is starting by mid January 2012, media hype will be back on the Smith/Rogers 2005 draft debate, as the Championship Game will be San Francisco vs. Green Bay, and hopefully played in San Francisco.....

Get your Crow Recipes ready!!!!!
I predicted 9-7 or 8-8 at the worst. Glad to eat my crow for sure. I had complete faith in Harbaugh and Baalke but I figured it would take at least 1 year to get to the level we are playing at.

good god we could go 13-3 at this point
We just matched the win total I predicted. Gawd, I love everything right now.
I figured it out. After we win our 11th game, I'm gonna have crow lau-lau. Recipe: remove all crow feathers, add Hawaiian salt, wrap crow in several layers of taro leaves, wrap crow and taro leaves with ti leaves and tie with string, steam well for at least an hour. Serve with poi and lomi lomi salmon.
I don't think I made a prediction, so I'm in the clear.
I feel better about the harbowl now, I think we can pull it out

2 Sun, Sept. 18 vs. Dallas Cowboys - LOSS - Toss-up. Dallas is a tough opponent, but we always play them well at Candlestick. We have the talent to win, and their secondary is poor (I see a big day for Braylon).
3 Sun, Sept. 25 at Cincinnati Bengals - WIN - Very bad, although very young, rebuilding team. We do our jobs, we walk out with an easy win.
4 Sun, Oct. 2 at Philadelphia Eagles - LOSS - Way too talented for us right now. Barring any injury to Vick, we will lose this game.
5 Sun, Oct. 9 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - LOSS - Freeman is only going to be better this year, as well Blount, Mike Williams, and the young Tampa D.
6 Sun, Oct. 16 at Detroit Lions - LOSS - We have had ownage on Detroit in recent years, but I think their defense will harass us and they will wind up winning a close one at home.
7 Bye
8 Sun, Oct. 30 vs. Cleveland Browns - WIN - Another rebuilding team we face who is installing a new defense. We're at home too and we're a better team.
9 Sun, Nov. 6 at Washington Redskins - WIN - Washington is just a very average team. We are more talented, and should win this game.
10 Sun, Nov. 13 vs. New York Giants - LOSS - Unless we can solve the Giants pass rush, this will probably be a blowout loss.
11 Sun, Nov. 20 vs. Arizona Cardinals - WIN - I still don't think Arizona can stop our run game.
12 Thu, Nov. 24 at Baltimore Ravens - LOSS - As much as I want this to be a win.. I don't think we'll stop Boldin, Evans, Torrey Smith, and Ray Rice in Baltimore.
13 Sun, Dec. 4 vs. St. Louis Rams - WIN - We'll beat the Rams at our house.
14 Sun, Dec. 11 at Arizona Cardinals - WIN - See week 11 comments.
15 Mon, Dec. 19 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers - LOSS - It's the 2010 AFC Champs...
16 Sat, Dec. 24 at Seattle Seahawks - LOSS - We might struggle with the Seattle crowd.
17 Sun, Jan. 1 at St. Louis Rams - WIN - We play well in season finales and I think we will steal this one for an upset.

Final Record 8-8.

I don't think we'll be worse than 7-9, based on our schedule, but I don't think we'll be better than 9-7. Here's to seeing whether or not the 49ers meet.. or EXCEED expectations this year.

I have a hard time seeing us win 4 road games, going 4-4 on the road. I'm saying 6-10, if we are lucky.

Ok MadDog, it's now officially time for you to serve up some crow!!! How are you going to have your Crow served? Haha no worry Dog, I'm hoping to have my own crow lau lau in 4 more weeks! OTC get your crow ready in a couple more weeks.
At this point anything less than 13-3 would be a disappointment.

We are 7-1 right now with 8 games to go. Going 6-2 for the rest of the year would be great but I'm thinking 5-3 would be fine as well.

Here's how I see the rest of the season shaping up:

Sun, Nov. 13 vs. New York Giants - WIN
Sun, Nov. 20 vs. Arizona Cardinals - WIN
Thu, Nov. 24 at Baltimore Ravens - LOSS
Sun, Dec. 4 vs. St. Louis Rams - WIN
Sun, Dec. 11 at Arizona Cardinals - WIN
Mon, Dec. 19 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers - WIN
Sat, Dec. 24 at Seattle Seahawks - LOSS
Sun, Jan. 1 at St. Louis Rams - WIN

I think the Ravens game will be tough and I see the 9ers losing an NFC West game especially at the end. Seattle on the road seems like the logical choice there.

Outside of the Steelers I think we have a decent shot of beating everyone.

Ravens and Giants are good but not unbeatable. Best competition we have so far is Giants and Steelers IMO. PIT would be the best because pressuring Big Ben doesn't mean s**t. He's clutch and mobile. Passing game has to open up vs PIT.
It has been a wierd and wacky year for sure.
The 49ers, Bengals and Lions are collectively 19-5, while two of the favorites to meet in the Super Bowl, Indi and Philly, are collectively 3-13.

Just goes to show that the NFL is not a linear system and that many of those experts are not experts at all. You could say that even the experts are full of it and the ones that walk around above their peers generally turn out to be the most foolish of all.
