I don't like to have to keep pointing this out, but have any of you ever watched these practice games before? Throwing blitz after blitz at a team during the first preseason game is basically unprecedented. I don't remember EVER seeing that happen before. And, this year, coming off of a lock out, with less than two weeks of practice, it's an outrageous slap in the face. I would guess that no NFL team with new coaches and new schemes has even gotten around to practicing blitz protection schemes. My suspicion is that NFL people around the league are shaking their heads about what Peyton and Williams pulled last night right after the league made a big show of protecting players, especially QB's, from injury. And, my prediction is that more than a few teams are going to be looking at a big target on the back of Drew Brees' jersey come regular season. Payback is a b***h.

We threw blitzes at Aaron Rodgers like a mothaf**ka a few years ago in preseason (Nolan Era)
