Anybody worried that Alex will rely TOO much on check downs to Gore?

As we all know, Alex is the check down master. Now that we are installing the West Coast Offense, are you worried that he will continue to not go through his reads and just check it down to Frankie?

If he completes the pass and they get a few yards at a time and get first downs and keep the chains moving why do you care?

yeah i gotta say i dont think anyone is trying to be mean, but this shouldnt even have been a thread.

As u heard and should of read continously that by design the check downs are in there. And just imagine if they run a slant route, or fade, or 4 WR set and everyone is covered. Adding the actual checkdown in this offense is supposed the leave the Rb with tons of room in the open field.

then if for some reason they always clog up the middle to look for the checkdown, then you'll have a WR that should be open somewhere or maybe even 1 on 1 coverage with a smaller or slower WR.

I say if the checkdowns get us 1st downs, no one should complain at all. you figure 3 straight 4yd checkdowns, and thats what 12 yds right there.

Now do i think every pass is gonna be a checkdown, No. Even in the past he still threw to WR's and Davis for big yds. He did have a high percentage completion to every other WR but Crabs last year (who still put up some type of numbers).

So once again Nah, and i dont think we should even worry about this just yet

Of all things about alex smith being our quarterback... you worry about this?

Well said! Tho we would all like to see the big explosive play on every pass, aint gonna happen! Look at the eagles with westbrook! Them plays went for some yards! Gores one helluva recieving back! With good play desiggn we may see some good yardage out of gore in that givin situation! We tossed that predictable playbook of sing and co to the curb!

Ah, no doubt brotha. U know i had to get u back from gettin me a few days ago, when i was tired as hell, outta the country, and up at like 3am, and u got me when i posted while watching the movie LIFE.

But hell yeah we all like boobies. When you said that i thought of the movie, Role Models when stiffler and that little kid was talkin about boobies and he was like, *and i like boobies".
