Why 49ers-Saints race matters: Since 1990, No. 2 seeds have reached Super Bowl 12 times (6 titles). For No. 3 seeds, just 2 SBs (1 title).

I think the #2 makes us NFC Championship-friendly to the least. -Our stadium/turf is a nightmare for pass-friendly teams in January; you gotta bring your lunch pail to beat us at our own house this season, Cowboys got 'lucky'.

It is, it really is. -The team everybody picked to finish last in the NFC West... comes in, and finishes as the 2nd best team in the entire NFC... man what a year...
