So who starts at corner

Deion Sanders and Eric Davis...Duh

No seriously... Harbaugh better give the youngsters some swag and let 'em go. This is going to be a very young team which can be good or bad.
we got spencer hes good but i dont think hes a #1 CB but he can do the job if we have to use him

as for our #2 CB as of now my vote goes to phillip adams but i seriously hope we go after a FA like asante or cromatie

I'm fine with spencer and adams, the problem is we need depth.

If one or both of them get hurt, then we have a collection of 7ths and UDFA playing against Sidney rice, and fitz.

Not to mention they have untested safeties behind them......
sad, id hate to see the cards pass for 700 yards on all on those second teamers, bring goldston back, start mays, go get a veteran, and let the youngsters build through limited roles.

Are CB's,Boy! what a group we have, should make it difficult for O Coordinators to devise pass plays

Adams, Phillip 2 yrs exp

Brock, Tramaine 2 yrs exp

Brown, Tarell 5 yrs exp

Culliver, Chris rookie

Spencer, Shawntae 8 yrs exp
If we sign Carlos Rogers, the free agency signings will be a success. If we sign Cromartie as well, we'll be golden. And we have the money to do just that.
I hope you are correct. We need to get better at corner or the team is in trouble. Big time trouble. No speed at corner = disaster.
I am amazed that we havent added anyone at CB

You don't think the 49ers tried? Really?

The problem here is that free agents would much rather go to a winning team or a contender than us. We should know that by now. This young team, under a new coaching staff, has to earn the respect of the league in order for it to be treated the same by free agents in the future.
Patrick Willis and Vernon Davis.

Shoot I guess Spencer and we'll see what Culliver has at CB. T. Brown is nothing more than a NCB.

We need Carlos Rogers before the Panthers sign him.
Monty Montgomery and Jimmy Williams

I agree that in order to get the top free agents we have to start winning. But the low to mid-level guys are in no position to choose to only go to a winner. If we made a good enough offer to Richard Marshall for instance, we could of had him. He went to AZ for christ sake, not exactly heaven on earth. I think people are more surprised that we showed no interest in pursuing a mid-level guy like him.
