I dont like him either, but oh well....
I think Kyle Williams will do good if he gets a chance to start
Another thing I think is hurting is that most of our coaches are from college so they have no ties to nfl players. Many free agents are following coordinators they have worked with in the past.

agree but in this economy nothing money can not fix
If you had other options, would YOU want to play for this team?

that's where the Yorks come into play because they refuse to over pay, but the only way we can get players is by over paying
If plaxico visits today, they better not let him leave without a contract.

No love for SF.

Pretty much no love for California in general unless you're LA in all the sports.

It's just not an attractive place to play because of the sales tax factor. Unless the team is on the cusp of a championship players tend to stay away from cali unless they are offering the best money after sales tax factors in.

New York only gets away with it because of it's the number one market and LA gets away with it because of the market and two of their sports teams in the Dodgers and Lakers are all time classic teams in their respective sports.

Sure you can overpay for free agents and we have but you can only do it so many times before you hose yourself in the cap. Which is why building through the draft is so critical for teams like us because it's far easier and usually cheaper to resign your own talent to extensions than it is bring in talent via free agency.

Question answered: NO, they don't want to play for the 49ers.

It's like we're asking the hottest girls in school to go out with us and they just take one look and laugh.

The team hasn't been relevant in the NFL for almost a decade.
Ownership is known as cheap asses around the league.
Rookie HC and rookie GM.
Worst stadium in the NFL.
Cost of living is high and state taxes are high.

The only way we really can get top notch players is if we over pay.

am I wrong on this one ???

Nope
