Where do you rank the 49ers?

NFL.com has an article on how different analysts rank the 32 teams in the offseason. Our lowest ranking is by Steve Wyche with the 30th best in the league. Our best ranking is by Gil Brandt who has us at 19th. IMO, with our qb situation, I would rank us aound 24. Where would you rank us?

Probably about 25th, new coaching staff and no off season hurts us and the big hole at QB.
I rank them 31 because we were the 2nd to last worst team in the worst division in the NFL. Until otherwise, we haven't proven s**t.

And we don't have a starting QB.

If Alex Smith is QB, and he stays healthy (big if) and we are able to sign a FA CB, the rankings would look like...

Offense:
Passing - 20th
Rushing - 15th

Defense:
Passing - 18th
Rushing - 5th
Championship

Thats where i rank them
i rank us in the 20's somehere with the caveat of playing in the nfc west where all the teams are in the 20's, just as good of a shot at the playoffs as a top 10 team in a div with other top 10 teams in it

A point also can be made that the Panthers were 2-14 because they had to play 6 games within its division and those teams are much tougher than the wins we got in our division. If we were in any other division, we don't win 6.
With Alex Smith, top 5.

Without Alex, top 12
we shall see new coach new system its all speculation we can be as high as 15 and as low the late 20's too many variables we shall see how the season goes
