calling a guy with that skillset and actual results in games not silly drills a reach and whether or not you or the other "experts" like him has no effect on who we pick. the guys we have were chosen by people who get paid to make these decisions. our entire staff is full of NFL coaches with ton of experience, mel kiper, mcshay, mayock and the others didnt exactly nail the 1st round, and never do. i think both kiper and mayock got less than 10 picks right in the 1st round. these are not experts. these are loudmouths who fall in love with how smart they think they are and they bash a team for taking what they need. we need a passrushing OLB and i think we got the best one in the draft.

I agree i think we got the right guy for the job. I think he was picked higher then ware so i think it's a reach in that sense, unless he turns out to be as productive as ware is.
Also if we took miller that would have been a bust, im not even sure what the broncos plan to do with him because he's a 3-4 olb but they run a 4-3 now, so does that make him a olb or does he become a end, and talk about a learning a new spot, who takes a 3-4 olb and decide to make him an end!!!

Im guessing they will probably use him as the redskins used Orakpo in his rookie year. He will play OLB in their 4-3 and rush the passer in passing situations. He has the tools and smarts to do almost anything they ask.

Two very good former NFL DEFENSIVE PLAYERS giving advice and good reviews of Aldon Smith, just makes you excited for this Lock out to end.
I really hope Aldon Smith starts to work out with Justin Smith.
Team Mizzery.
Niners have the most Smiths of any team.
Justin, Aldon, Reggie, and A***
We are actually ties for most with Balt.
Not true.
We've got Frank Smith, Vernon Smith, Patrick Smith, and Takeo Smith

LMAO at fans like Susweel "hating the pick" because "he wasnt projected to go to the 9ers" or "they had never heard of him".
Football ignorance, lol. Watch the tape crybabies.
While I am not one of the fans who hated the pick because "he wasn't projected to go to the 9ers" or "they had never heard of him," I disliked the pick because I felt CB was more of a need (and I still do, unless they're planning on addressing it in free agency) and Prince Amukamara was still there. The majority of the fans at the draft party felt the same way.
I have since gotten over it and am being as optimistic as I can about Aldon Smith.

Aldon Smith is going to be a beast in the 3-4 defense.
Who gives a rats ass about what a certain niner fan on this forum thinks especially when they never even heard of the guy. .Everyone pretty much knew after the top 5 players were gone the rest of the draft was going to be a huge crapshoot.

As a rookie, he will be more of a beast when we run our 4-3 elephant on obvious passing downs.

I've got 2 things to say about Warren Sapp:
1: He can suck my f***ing d**k.
2. You can't spell "Fat-a$$ed facemasking punk-a$$ biotch" without "The U"

Be careful when you watch a highlight reel on a player. I learned my lesson when I got my hopes up watching Alex Smith highlights.
I've learned to watch entire game tape. Gives you a whole different perspective.

Wait...so highlight videos don't show everything?
