I agree they should have had at least one if not two rings by now. Bad breaks and stupid plays killed them in 2011; definitely would have won it all that year.
One play away the next year. I still don't understand how the 9ers came out so flat in that game. One play away from going to the SB last year.
My point is JH has the formula for winning and its just stupid to fire the guy after 3 successful seasons and one middle of the pack season with a ton of injuries and disgruntled players.
You can't tell me Vernon Davis is playing to his level and the same goes for Crabtree. Jim deserves to finish his contract get another shot at winning a SB.

Eddie Debartolo would never let Harbaugh go if he were in this situation. Anyone with half a brain can see that we began winning again in 2011 BECAUSE of Harbaugh. It's no coincidence that as soon as he arrives we rise out of the depths of darkness and go to 3 straight NFC championships.
Now were just going to up and let him go because Baalke thinks he has the biggest dick? Umm well Baalke has been around on this team a bit longer and we sucked. He also whiffed on the entire 2012 draft. Also, it doesn't matter if you're talented. If you don't have the coach to put it together, you're not going anywhere.
Jed York and the upper management are giving in to exactly what the media and our opponents want, and that's to let Harbaugh go. It's as clear as day that's what the opposition wants, and York seems to be ok with going through with it. Yeah let's just get rid of the best thing that has happened to this team in 20 years in Jim Harbaugh. That's real smart. We haven't had this much success since we won our last superbowl.
Brace yourselves for possibly more painful losing seasons if Harbaugh is kicked to the curb or leaves. York, Baalke, and the rest of upper management really aren't too bright if that's the case. Suppose to be professionals and work things out for the best of the team. Instead, egos are getting in the way and it's ridiculous and the fans deserve much better.

This. Get that Gase guy if they want a young offensive mind. We know this guy already sucks. But they better try to keep Jim.

Love your passion, Brother! Strap on the kevlar, cause it's going to get ugly up in here. But our job is to carry this franchise through the dark times, while others gravy train the good. You have an ability to see through the BS. That is what I'm looking for.

He did but to push him to be better. Eddie D wouldn't care about the amount of $$$ he had to pay Harbaugh to stay. He would outbid anyone, and on top of that, bring top talent to the team no matter the cost. Walsh had no excuse because Eddie D provided everything necessary to be champions. He didn't get pushed around and wanted winner and made it work with Walsh no matter what fights they had between them. Jed, his father, and Balkee just want a yes coach. They don't give a damn about winning a Super Bowl and sacrificing everything to get it. Harbaugh knows talent and it's the reason we have multiple winning seasons. No replacement that I've read about will accomplish what he did. Josh McDaniels?! Hahaha! We are f**ked if this happens.

This is just sad that three grown men can't get along and figure it out and have derailed this franchise to potential darkness once again. This should have been a 10 year run. Jed and Baalke knew what they were getting with Jim and took the risk but obviously didn't assess a plan to handle what's going on right now. They will all look back on this in 5 years and think wtf were we thinking?!?!?! We took the NFL by storm and couldn't swallow our egos in favor of winning the biggest prize of them all for the long term???
The talent has been and is still in place and I am very curious to see what happens on Black Monday (my bday of course). I think we are in for a roller coaster ride going into 2015 and will take a step back to eventually take that step forward. The biggest thing I see is with a new HC, the further development of Kaep. If they cant get him to progress, we may even take another step back.
Good luck to you Jim and thanks for bringing the franchise back to relevancy!

I'd only bring back harbaugh, who I love, if he fires roman and gets a real OC out here who he allows to run the offense. It's completely obvious to me that Harbaughs offense is not gonna work in the NFL any longer. Give up some control!! Run the team!!

I thought the same thing lol.
As for this situation w Harbaugh, I really do think that they let this whole thing spiral out of control. When the rumors started flying, they could have stopped the media dead in their tracks by re-signing Harbaugh. Unfortunately, they didn't and my gut feeling is because of Roman. Harbaugh's current contract gives him authority over his staff, and his loyalty to Roman could be the undoing.
I believe in Baalke at GM and think he will find us someone that can win. The only issue I have is that the players know Harbaugh had been a winner, and they probably wouldn't be too happy about letting him walk. Especially the vets who spent time with Nolan and Singletary.

News flash. There is a difference between "wanting to fire" and actually being foolish enough to fire or trade. SMH
