What will 49ers do to improve their secondary?

I guess the 49ers will have to draft or sign some sevondary players.

Most importanly, find a good sevondary coach.

Resign almost everyone and draft a CB in Rd. 1

1. Draft an early CB, as we need to get younger on talent at that position.

2. Dump Manusky, and be more aggressive with playing our CBs closer in the face of their receivers. Disrupt routes, and you will get better pass rush.

3. Simplify the defensive scheme for your young safeties till they show they are ready for more.

They need new safeties. Every safety on the roster is a liability in coverage.

Sooner or later, there will be a new CBA. I have no doubt that the new CBA will have a salary cap, which is all the more reason to get rid of Nate Clements.
Either cut him or he takes a pay cut. If it comes down to keeping Nate or signing N.A..........Sorry but Nate has gotta go.
