Sing is going to let Alex put the nail in both of their coffins. If Sings going down, he's going to make sure Alex shows that be truly is a coach killer.
I love how people have labeled Alex Smith a coach killer. But answer me this, who was the last competent coach that Alex Smith got fired?
Not fired but he ran two in two years away once they saw what they had to work with. Lol. Even Martz didn't want Alex anywhere near starting. That's three coaches who did not stay because they thought they may have a chance to coach a top QB. Coaches just don't leave QBs that they feel can win them superbowls.

Where did Joe go? C'mon Joe... let's hear it. Which 2 coaches did Alex get fired? It's fun watching you squirm in the corner under your own hatefully false words.

The fact that so many people think Alex should stay shows just how long it's been since we've had a good QB. People honestly don't remember what it looks like anymore.
What manure.
The fact that people think Alex should stay shows that people understand all the issues.
The fact that the mules that won't budge from the notion that Alex has to leave shows that they are closed minded and not worthy of holding a conversation with for longer than necessary.
Let's put it this way...
we get that you're tired of seeing our 1st overall not produce to your satisfaction. A lot of us feel the same way.
We get that you're ready for the "experiment" to end. Same here.
What you don't get is that the FA list is small.
What you don't get is that the lock out is more than likely GOING to happen. There is NO collective bargaining agreement in place. Effectively canceling the FA period. Players are stuck on their prospective Islands.
What you don't get is that there is NOT a Rookie in the Draft that we could get that is an immediate Starter. And another thing you don't get is that even if there were, it's in our best interests to bring them along slowly so we're not back here 3-6 years down the road.
Now get back on your high horse and take it down the road. I'm tired of reading closed minded drivel.

The absolute lack of any intelligence in this post, coupled with the my knowledge that you are a lost cause and would probably have Smith over any other QB in the league, leads me to wonder if Alex is having a gay affair with you.
Refute what I've said then. If there is lack of intelligence in it you should EASILY be able to show people that I'm wrong.
Besides Favre tell me which Players will be FA at the end of the season that are better than Alex. Can we get them cheaper? And with the impending lockout will we be able to get them?
Rookies, you know the names so tell me which one can come in and start right away. Because that's what all the fools will want. It happened with Alex and look what happened there.
So refute it. Being that you're oh so much more intelligent than I am and NOT a lost cause you should be able to do so. Right?

Cause face it the season is more than likely going to be shortened by the impending lockout. Good luck finding a replacement player in that environment. There isn't going to be much lateral movement because of this. He's ready, he's perfectly able and if we do draft "the Future" then he can hold the spot til the Rookie is able to take over.
I mean dang who else is going to be available on the cheap that knows the Offense if Sing is still here. If Sing is gone it's obviously up to the new Coach, but a lot of the Coaches use a spread/digit system these days.
It only makes sense. Too bad our fan base is full of whiners that go "Oh no! We've had to endure him for 6 years" Whaaaaaaaaa..." If people would get over themselves it'd be easier to cope with reality. If you can't go get your medical card and hit that 420 til you don't give a truck anymore.

I don't think he's squirming nor should he be. I did not see where he said "fired". He said Alex will put the nail in their coffins. Joe even stated "not fired". So those are your words not his.

You are being deliberately obtuse and semantical. He said he ran two away in two years. So which two? The first guy that took a promotion to HC for GB? The 2nd guy that was promoted to HC in SD? Or the 3rd guy who was fired because he clashed horribly with the offense Sing wanted to run?
Let's face it. It was just another of weak arse attempts by the same fella to discredit a 49er. Does it really matter? Nah... but it is comical when words are used and accountability gets lost on them.

And you are putting words in someone's mouth to attempt to make a lame point. I think his point is that if a coach stays with the same losing QB over and over that makes the QB a coach killer. Seems like a simple and understandable argument to me.

Furthermore, calling the fanbase a bunch of whiners for not wanting to bring back a bust #1 pick for a seventh season is a bit of a stretch, even al Davis was smart enough to cut his losses and move on. The 9ers are the only team that would let a bust stick around for this long. Bunch of whiners? Cmon, you can't be serious.
