T. Smith cut the turnovers wayyy down compared to A Smith.
In the past 2 or 3 of Alex's starts, he had 6 TD's and 2 interceptions or somethin
Bringing up captain checkdown's stats for two games against mediocre teams is silly.
Against the Raiders, a sub par team, he went 16/33 (48.5%), 2 TD and 0 picks. 196 yards and a 87.2 rating.
Against the Panthers, a sub par team, he went 9 for 19 (47.4%) with 1 td and 0 picks. 129 yards and a 87 rating.
OHHH how scary.
Awesome job.
The Eagles game he f**ked up with that fumble and threw a pick at the end. He blows dude.

Good. Troy Smith sucks. He proved it. Either way it doesn't matter. The 49ers losing out is the best thing they can do now.

Sings grasping trying to save his job.
Alex ain't gonna do it.
Can't wait for the booing to start.
I hate sing, but what if we win the next 4 games? We probably make the playoffs at 8-8
Not gonna happen, when was the last time a niner team won 4 in row ?
But this time Alex is coming off an injury. So you know? He'll be better.
And since Gore is out, we can open up the playbook for alex, yeah. You know?
Also, Crabtree is off his schnide and playing better. Plus MJ and Alex were developing a good relationship before the injury, you know?
haha A. Smith you piece of s**t. You are like the cockroach in my bathroom that i can't get rid of.
I thought it was pretty funny. The fellow Alex haters prolly did.

He should. He's better IMO. But QB is something we should deal with in the offseason.

Oh look we have a seahawks fan here.
Don't believe me noob?
Alex plays bad against Seattle too. He got two wins in 2006, that is about it.

So if Alex's mediocre game against Oakland doesn't count even tho it was a win, why does Troy Smith's game against AZ where he sucked ass and threw up a 66 QB rating count? Explain that one. In fact, in Troy's last 3 starts he's thrown up 2 QB ratings in the 60s and one in the 50s, and the 9ers are 1-2 in those games with the only win coming against a s**tty AZ team.

Troy Smith does not know enough of the playbook, he is going to get shut down now. Alex knows all the plays, he just can't execute them consistently. Nate is not ready but toward the end of the season it would be fun to see him get some reps in games.
Pick your poison.

A. Smith doesn't have Gore to turn too...He will turn the ball over at least twice before the game is done. Also, it won't be his fault of course because we don't have
Star receivers
OC who can't call the right plays
Oline that can't block
HC who can't put together a gameplan
Second half adjustments
Penalties
False starts
Defense that can't hold a team to "0"
Am I missing anything?

Nate Davis can't even read. How is he going to learn the playbook?

Alex averages a little more than 1 turnover a game. Just on INT's alone he had 9 in 6.5 games. That's not including fumbles lost.
