well said, but it all starts with the Oline, can they play well?? Then if Smith gets time, can he play consistent?? then if that all holds up, can the WRs get seperation and make plays in key moments?? it has to be consistent in all phases on offense, defensively we cant let Rivers manipulate us

The Rams at the time had a top 10 defense and we beat them. Then we turned around and lost to the damn Tampa Bay Bucaqueers and their crappy defense. Any given Sunday.

You can't compare Ram D to the Chargers. The Chargers have been tops all season.. I'm sorry,but the game wont be prettty... I expect Smith to revert back into his true form..

they have the #1 defense and a HC that knows Alex's strengths and weaknesses inside and out

The Niners better have a helluva defensive gameplan in SD. If they just sit in that quarters zone defense, Rivers will pick them apart. He won't be throwing gift wrapped INTs like Hasselbeck did.
