Hope not because we still have divisional games to play and may choke like we did last year against SEA.

I think everyone will remain pretty polarized.

I just hope Singletary doesn't get over joyed and starts up his rah-rah stuff again and begins puffing his chest again.

One positive is that the Niners will have extra days to prepare for Sam the Ram and his dinks and dunks.

But I can see it now, Niners beat Chargers, and Chiefs beat Rams = a very merry xmas and NT, and Alex lovers & haters will love one another!

If this happens, we're f**ked.

Quote:
Hand injuries could keep 49ers linebackers Willis, Spikes off the field Thursday

Charger injury report from nfl.com

Name Posit Injury Practice Status Game Status
Patrick Crayton WR Wrist Did Not Participate In Practice Out
Legedu Naanee WR Hamstring Did Not Participate In Practice Doubtful
Antonio Gates TE Toe Did Not Participate In Practice Questionable
Vincent Jackson WR Calf Full Participation in Practice Questionable
Brandon Siler LB Rib Full Participation in Practice Questionable
Louis Vasquez G Neck Full Participation in Practice Questionable
Darren Sproles RB Concussion Limited Participation in Practice Questionable
Stephen Cooper LB Knee Full Participation in Practice Probable
Antonio Garay DT Ankle Full Participation in Practice Probable
(sorry about the alignment)

Leg or foot injuries to their three best pass catchers should be a help to slow them down just enough to allow the secondary to control them.
