ur right the last time we beat green bay in green bay was 1990 with montana, and i will say this montana did a good job at green bay and did what steve young could never do...WIN
i wasnt aware steve young never won a super bowl or had winning seasons

I do remember a MNF game where Bebe was in fact down by contact but Bebe got up and ran it in for 6. Later in that game Seifert went all Singletary/Nolan (damned defense minded coaches WTF?) and went for a stooopid field goal instead of just trusting Steve and Jerry to get a TD and of course we missed the field goal. That was our best chance at a win during the 90's with SY at the helm. GB is probably the main reason why Seifert lost his coaching job. I also remember that muddy playoff game there in 95/96? season. One of the worst games ever...absolutely brutal to watch.
To the guy who said Steve couldn't beat GB in GB, who was their quarterback that Montana didn't have to play? Yeah, there was no other reason to point out the comparison between Joe and Steve except to put Steve down. Try again.

Teams seems to be at there best against us in areas they usually suck at, for example,
Carolina - over 300 yards passing...geez
Tampa Bay - 6 sacks...they had 8 total before the game...
So, expect the Packers to run all over us.

We probably will get killed because we always do in Green Bay. Considering how bad we are this year on the road and how inconsistent we are, this could be a blowout. However, are we always going to get dominated at Lambeau Field? When was the last time we seriously upset someone? Any given Sunday should apply to all NFL teams, including us. It's time for us to pull off the unexpected and unbelievable. The Cardinals beat the Saints this year, why can't we beat Green Bay some how? If only it would happen...

I actually LOL on this one. Definitely going to be a tough game for us. The Cards were a bonus stage type game. Hopefully we will be on our A game.

if we win one of the San Diego or Green Bay games we are in the playoffs assuming we win the rest of the division games ! but i doupt either will happen cuz we are not aggressive enough in play calling !

This game is full of intrigue. What gear, sunglasses and brand of gum will Sing surprise us with? Will he forget the charade of the headset and simply wear earmuffs?
When will A.Smith go into the game?
Will Westbrook be allowed to run outside of the tackles more than twice?
Will the Packers really doom the future of the Niners by allowing them to win, thereby ensuring the retention of Sing?

Great game, we can listen to the announcers talk about the biggest MISS in QB picks in the last 10 years! This is a must win game if the Niners seriously think they have a shot at winning the division. We simply have to win this game or I think the season is pretty much over....

Short week, on the road, cold weather, the Packers just coming off a loss and need to win to get into the playoffs, no Gore, Aaron Rodgers = Packers slaughter. This is going to be absolutely UGLY!!!
The line should be put at 20 points, and even with that staggering line, I might still take the Packers.
