Josh Morgan has 26 catches, 384 yards and 1 TD all year long. This would be adequate if he was our 3rd or 4th receiver, but he starts.
Throw in a few fumbles and boneheaded penalties. This is NOT acceptable.
I thought WR was a strength going into the season. I now see it as an area that MUST be improved upon soon.

Awesome. ::hug::
I don't care if Alex or Troy or Luck or Montana is behind center. The rest of this crap needs to get fixed before any QB can have success here.
It's disgusting to me that the entire offense is as bad as it is.
I do care, I hope is Luck next year, if Troy suxs the rest of the season...

Can you at least admit that, while Alex Smith may be an awful QB, the rest of the team deserves at least some of the blame for our awful performances?
Umm... does this mean you agree?
as much as I wanna say no, yes
We never said he was the ONLY problem.
but most of it...
Yes a qb is always most of it.
I don't mean to be a jerk here or anything, but you both did say that it was 100% Alex Smith's fault. Multiple times.

It won't matter if the rest of the team isn't fixed. Luck will get destroyed, just like Carr, just like Alex. I'm not saying either of them ever had the same potential. I'm saying that if we don't fix this problem, I don't think any QB could succeed here.

Morgan is a bum, I rather see Kyle Williams instead

Alex >>>> Troy
That is not debatable. But go ahead... blame the receivers now. The DL kept Troy from scrambling around and he didn't know where to go with the ball. Know why? Because TB finally had film to counter Troy with... and he choked. He was a huge part of why we suffered the nastiest home shutout in 50 years. Has anyone even mentioned the awful short swing passes that Troy missed on? Wow... good thing he can run round real good, huh?

I'm not debating it. As a matter of fact, I said that it wasn't the point.
The point is, you both said that Alex Smith was 100% the reason for the failure of the offense. Now you denied having said that and I reminded you.
It was never all Alex Smith's fault. I've been arguing this point with all the anti-Alex members since day one.
The term "Alexcuses" should never be used again.

At this point I could care less. We are 3-7 headed to a 5-11 finish. All these men are hopefully gone next and we can move on with some better players and coaches.
I just find it funny that Alex fans want Troy benched after one bad game when Alex has countless bad games.

I don't know what happened to the old "Official Alex Smith Thread" or I'd get a quote for you.

Better at scrambling around like a roach and chucking the ball up in double coverage? yeah... Troy is better with that.

Alex has had much worse games than troy.
Alex has NEVER had a game like the one troy had last week.
debate that.
